The five Grand Prix meetings will be held in Manchester, Birmingham, Loughborough, Watford and Bury.
The British Milers’ Club has released the schedule of their Grand Prix meetings for next season.
The five events, held in Manchester, Birmingham, Loughborough, Watford and Bury, are the showcase for BMC meetings and also double up as World Tour Challenges.
Attracting some of the best athletes from across the UK and the world, Grand Prix events tend to produce incredibly fast times over the middle distances.
Cooper Thier, who trains with 1500m world champion Cole Hawker, set the BMC 1500m record 3:33.96 at Bury on August 10th.
On the same night, Kevin Robertson beat Christian Stevenson’s 8:25.37 in the 3000m steeplechase from 2000 to set a BMC record of 8:24.37.

Phoebe Gill, before becoming the British 800m champion and reaching the semi-finals of the Olympic Games over two laps in Paris, also set a BMC record May 25 in Manchester.
Showing no fear or inhibitions, the 17-year-old bravely followed pacesetter Serene Bundy-Davies through the bell in 54.95 and ended up running 1:58.07 over the 800m, beating Ciara Magein in the process.
During the season, Gill went under two minutes in the 800m an incredible five times.
BMC’s aim is to improve the world ranking of middle distance running in the UK, so expect faster times next season.
