How to watch the Valspar Championship on Thursday
Xander Schauffele hopes 2026 will be a big year. Although Schauffele won the Baycurrent Classic in Octoberhe failed to win one PGA Tour event in the regular season. As a result, he did not even qualify for the tournament championship.
Off to this week’s Valspar Championship, Schauffele it looks much sharper. The two-time major champion has finished in the top 10 in two of his last three starts, and they were significant. First, he earned a T7 at the Genesis Invitational, a signature event. Then, last week, he fought back and finished a solitary third at the 2026 Players Championship.
Now Schauffele has a chance to get back into the winner’s circle (and continue to prepare for Masters 2026) on the Copperhead Course.
Schauffele’s campaign for victory no. 11 of the PGA Tour begins with Thursday’s opening round.
