“I’m going to put my life on the line for another year and another year. After five years of doing that unsuccessfully, he’s coming back and taking over the sport… Mark’s job isn’t done yet, but the achievement is huge, if he’s tied his rival and now wants to equal this year’s record, it’s huge.”
