BERLIN (Germany, March 6). Jakub Szymanski set a new national record of 7.37 to equal the world lead in the 60m hurdles at ISTAF Indoor 2026 (WIT Silver) over Poland’s Damian Czykjer (7.55). It is tied for 7th all-time in the hurdles and 2nd all-time in Europe.

World champion Jessica Schilder scored 20.69 in the final ball round to equal her overall best, the world lead and the Dutch indoor record. Second Auriol Dongmo scored 19.14 to beat home star Yemisi Ogyunlei with 19.08.

World indoor champion Jeremiah Azu took his lifetime 60m best to 6.47 EL to beat Cameroon’s Emmanuel Esseme (6.55) and Ireland’s Toluabori Akinola (6.57). Nadine Visser clocked 7.81 to beat Ditaji Kambundji (7.82) in the 60m hurdles, while Pia Skrzyszowska battled back and forth.

Canada’s Sade McCreath improved to 7.12 to win the 60m from Maya McCoy (7.16 PB) and Minke Bishops (7.19). Pauline Hondema beat Malaika Mihambo (657) in the long jump with a 657, and Ernest John Obiena beat Simon Gutormsen on countback in the pole vault, both with 578s.
