The rejection of the apology led to a secondary confrontation involving Karnataka’s big stars. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal, visibly incensed by the physical nature of the attack, unleashed a verbal volley on the J&K captain. The Karnataka duo reportedly “walked out” at Dogra several times without interruption, creating an incredibly hostile atmosphere on the field. That wasn’t the only rub on Day 2; pacer Vijay Kumar Vishak and Kanhaiya Wadhawan also came face-to-face after a collision during a one-on-one, demanding the umpire to push the pacer.
