1. It RAK Half Marathon has 11,000 runners racing on Al Marjan Island today Jeffrey Volunteers running 58:13 to win RAK for the second time (he won in 2013). Asmerach Anli Ran 67:22 for the half marathon in his debut.

4. Three flights home, about 26 hours of flight time. Just finished from Dubai to Munich. Sitting in the Lufthansa club, I am writing, and the next one is ten hours from Dubai to Chicago.
5. When I was going to the airport, I was able to watch ASICS Sound Running Highlights!
6. Congratulations! Cole’s stool who now holds the American record for the mile at 3;45.94. Cooper Thier, Cole’s training partner and friend was second in 3:50.49. Sam Ruthsixteen-year-old Wunderkid was 7th in 3:52.46.

Cole missed the WR a bit because J?Jacob Ingebrigtsen has #1 time WR at 3:45.14.
7. Cooper Lutkenhaus ran 1:44.03 to win, his third win as a professional NIKE athlete, and the world under-20 world record for the short course (indoors) also at the ASICS Sound Run Invitational.

8. El St. Pierre won the BU mile in 4:17.00 and went AR 3:59.33 over the indoor course for 1,500 meters. Well done Elle! thanks to coach mark coogan for that.
