This week the PGA Tour goes to Riviera in Los Angeles for the 2026 Genesis Invitational, and players no. 1 and no. 2 in the Official World Golf Ranking lead the betting favorites. Here’s everything you need to know about the Genesis Invitational odds and other betting favorites to start the week.
Genesis Invitational Betting Favorites
For the second week in a row, we have a PGA Tour Signature Event on the schedule with the Genesis Invitational. And the two best players in the world are at the top of the pre-tournament betting odds.
World number 1 Scottie Scheffler is again the betting favourite, with +330 odds to win at the Riviera this week. Scheffler won his first event of the season, then backed it up with top-4 finishes at the WM Phoenix Open and last week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Otherwise, world number 2 Rory McIlroy there is only one PGA Tour start this season. The 2025 Masters champion shot a final-round 64 to finish T14 at Pebble Beach.
Behind this duo in the odds is the last player to win the Genesis at the Riviera, Hideki Matsuyama at +2200 (2025 Genesis Invitational moved to Torrey Pines due to Los Angeles wildfires).
Two-time major winner Xander Schauffele tied with Matsuyama at +2200 odds to win. Tommy Fleetwood (+2400) completes the first 5.
