Anthony Kim’s once unimaginable comeback has now been confirmed as he got one shock win at LIV Golf Adelaide.
Kim last won a professional golf tournament 16 years ago at the Shell Houston Open and had no top 25 finishes during his first two years at LIV Golf. But after regaining his place in the league through their promotional event, Kim knocked out Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau on Sunday in Australia for raise a trophy once more.
Before Kim’s 12-year hiatus, he was a Nike staff player and played nearly a bag full of Nike clubs in his last win.
Since returning, he hasn’t had any equipment sponsorships and his purse has rotated quite a bit. Like his bag in 2010, he’s still playing back muscle irons — now TaylorMade P7TW — with True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts and a Scotty Cameron blade gauge.
