3. Three weeks on the road is too much.

4. Looking forward to USATF Indoor, February 28-March 1.

5. Looking forward to the NIKE Indoor Nationals, March 12-15, 2026.

6. Cole’s stool just ran 2:16.30 1000 meters, that mile ASICSSound Running would be fantastic! Cole has times of 4:52.92 for the 2000m, 8:07.31 for the 2 mile and 2:16.30 for the 1000m. I’d say he’s ready to do a MILE smackdown.

7. Just did 30 questions with Sam Ruth. https://www.runblogrun.com/2026/02/sam-ruthe-30-questions-with-the-world-under-18-mile-and-1500m-record-holder.html?swcfpc=1

8. NIKE Pre news: Cole Hawker, Cam Myers and Sam Root were named the Bowerman MILE on the 4th of July! Wow!

9. Special shout outs to staff Hampton Inn Albobendas in Madrid, Spain. Great service, great wifi, great breakfast, great coffee and Sangria.

10. Favorite restaurant in Madridthis trip. Typical! Modestly priced Paella, salmon on toast is the perfect appetizer and Sangria is mui bueno. Gustavo, the owner, has had a restaurant, his life’s dream, for ten months now, please go and tell them Larry and Kathy, his friends from Wisconsin, sent you.

Thanks, campers!

See you next time #Coffee with Larry
