I recently wrote about how we never have to tell anyone how to enjoy the game of golf.
Well, I’ve decided I want to get back to playing the blade. Yes, my LAB Mezz.1 Max definitely made me a better shooter (you can ask my sparring partners). But sometimes I like to switch it up for the sake of switching it up. And having a cool shooter to switch to certainly helps.
I recently put a new one on Football in the baga polished blade that was designed by Weston Maughan, who just happens to live a few miles down the road from where I grew up in Utah.

Honestly, this thing rocks the rock nicely.
It feels good on the face. It looks really stylish. The orange leather grip is buttery.
It’s everything I want in a shooter (besides making me a better shooter).
And that’s okay. Because no one can tell me how to enjoy golf (see above).
So if I want to play a shooter that isn’t designed to save me shots? This is my right. You don’t have to agree with it. Or do it yourself.
But you can at least respect playing a piece of equipment simply because you think it’s pretty cool.
And I think this Powerbilt gauge is cool.
