Toprak Razgatlioglu sounded a bit down after MotoGP’s Sepang test. Yamaha was plagued by engine problems, but the new Pramac signature was not happy with its own performance.
Razgatlioglu followed his teammate Jack Miller On the third day and he found himself losing time in the long corners. I haven’t worked out how to approach them yet.
The Turkish rider finished 19th in his time, nearly 2 seconds off the pace, although Yamaha’s careful display of their engine meant his lap time was more respectable than it looked.
Still, Razgatlioglu is used to watching Ducati race and win races and championships. Nicolo opens. To win the third World Superbike crown last year.
Nicolo Bulega’s ‘correct riding style’ is perfect for MotoGP.
Bulega has made his MotoGP debut before RazgatliogluDeputizing for the injured Marc Marquez in the final two rounds of the 2025 season. The Italian scored points in both races.
Speaking in Malaysia, Razgatlioglu suggested Bulega’s ‘riding style’ was much better suited to a MotoGP bike than his own.
Being a driver of the Desmosedici test, Bulega has been linked to MotoGP activity. For 2027, possibly a satellite team for Ducati.
“If he comes here, I think he can ride better than me because he has the right riding style and is very strong in wide corners,” Razgatlioglu said. GPON.
“The reality is that riding a superbike involves these aspects: you stop the bike, take a V-shaped turn and accelerate.
“It works there, but in MotoGP you have to completely change your style. Even Jonathan Rea did the same thing when he came here.”
