It’s been emotional for me after three long years – Varun Chakravarthy

Varun Chakravarthy, who played his first game for India after the T20 World 2021, said it was emotional for him to play after three years. Saying that it was a revival for him, he noted that he focused on the process. He also added that he has been working hard with Ravichandran Ashwin in the TNPL and playing in the tournament has helped him. He added:

It was emotional for me after three long years. It feels good to be back in the blues. It feels like a rebirth, I just want to stick to the process, I’ve followed that in the IPL, I don’t want to go beyond what’s there and I just want to stay in the present, so I don’t want to think too much or express too much.

After IPL, I participated in several tournaments and one of them was TNPL; it is a very good tournament and also of high standards. This is where I also work a lot with Ash (Ashwin) bhai; We also won the championship, which gave me confidence here. It was a good preparation for me for this series.
