The fight itself passed under the comedy. Miller leaned, bumped and worked. Ibeh had moments, enough to make the cards uncomfortable, and that’s how a split decision happens when a supposed name can’t separate itself. It was twelve rounds of survival boxing with a punchline attached.
Miller won rounds by size and tenacity. Ibeh touched him often enough to make you wonder how generous one of those cards had to be.
It was Miller’s first fight since the Andy Ruiz draw in August 2024. That night raised doubts about pace and legs. This one added varss. If you scrape through Kingsley Ibeh on a major card, the division isn’t worried about you.
The toupee stole oxygen because the box below it never claimed it. When the loudest moment of a heavyweight fight is a hair piece bouncing on the canvas, the evaluation writes itself.
Miller leans into it, because what else is there
After that, Miller didn’t pretend it was anything else. Speaking to DAZN, he explained the chaos with straight-faced absurdity.
“I get to my mom’s house and I saw some shampoo bottles on the table,” Miller said. “I put shampoo and it was like ammonium bleach. I literally lost my hair like two days ago.”
He continued, “Then I called my manager and said, ‘Get me one of those manes,’ and I quickly slapped it.”
He doubled up with a shrug to match the night. “It’s funny, man. I’m a comedian and you gotta make fun of yourself. You can’t take life too seriously sometimes, you gotta roll with the punches.”
“Then I get to New York, I wash my hair and all my hair falls out. It’s ammonia and bleach in the bottle and I’m like ‘f— this, if it falls out during the fight, I’m just going to make fun of it’ and sure enough it fell out in the fight.”
On iFLTV he pointed to a rough build-up. “Just getting to this moment has been so many trials and tribulations,” he said, citing endorsements, fights that fell through and personal losses.
The clips spread quickly, and the jokes landed harder than the right hands.
