2026 Millrose Games Ready To Serve Full Course.

2026 Millrose Games Ready To Serve Full Course.

By Jeff Benjamin

For the start of 2026, Track Geeks & Fans have been treated to some great treats as various national and world indoor records have been successfully broken (as of this writing, Roisin Willis has just broken the American 800m record by clocking 1:57.97.
in Boston).

However, the movers and shakers of the Millrose Games this Sunday may be serving up the most amazing meal on record, courtesy of the Nike Armory Track & Field Center.

In fields packed to break more records, fans consciously signed up pretty quickly, as ticket sales sold out faster than ever, according to Armory co-chairman Jonathan Schindel.

“118 years is a lot of years for the Millrose Games, and winning here is the mark of champions,” said Meet Director Ray Flynn, aware of the strong field competing.

And what is the main dish?

how is

1) A loaded men’s 800 without new world record holder Josh Hoy, still bolstered by Donovan Brazier, Bryce Hoppel and Irish 1:42 runner Cian McPhillips.

2) Speaking of 1:42, one also has to wonder what High School Sensation Cooper Lutkenhause (who ran 1:45.23 for the 800m at the Armory last week) can do in the 600m.

3) In the Women’s Wanamaker Mile, star athletes Dorcus Evoy, Jessica Hull, Nikki Hiltz, US Outdoor Miler record holder Sinclair Johnson are all ready to battle. Don’t forget El St Purrier who is on the comeback trail and has won here before.

4) Let’s not forget newly minted world record holder Hobbs Kessler, who won the New Balance 2000 meters (4:49.48) last week with Grant Fisher (4:49.48) right behind him. Kessler is at the Wanamaker Mile where he has 3-time Wanamaker Champ and former world record holder Jared Nugus.

5) And finally the really loaded men’s 2 miles,
Four World Outdoor Champions are packed: Josh Kerr, Jake Wightman, Cole Hawker and Geordie Beamish. American Cole Hawker is certainly hungry after losing his American 2000 title within days. close record Hobbs Kessler always seems to be coming to win as well.

Additional events are loaded, and this is just a limited menu, but fans of the Armory and NBC TV will know they suspect a full course will be served up this coming Sunday.

Enjoy your food!!!
