Yamaha’s dream is to replace Fabio Quatararo with Toprak Razgatlioglu.
In a recent MotoGP podcast breaking down the three team debuts this pre-season, journalist Simon Patterson revealed Yamaha’s ‘dream’ for his factory team if Fabio Quattararo were to leave the team.
The Frenchman has grown impatient with Yamaha’s failure to deliver a competitive bike in recent years, and rumors of an exit in 2025 are rife with the lack of speed more prominent than ever.
Quatararo warned that ‘everything will change’ When Yama Razgatlioglu arrived at Pramak, including a change of support in the ranks.
Discussing whether Pramac Moto2 talent Izan Guevara could find himself a MotoGP seat in 2027, Patterson said: “I would say it depends on where.
Fabio Quatararo, Marc Marquez and Peco Bagnaia are two linchpins. I think it depends on what Fabio Quatararo does.
If he looks elsewhere, suddenly there is a way. If Yama’s dream is gone, he is going to be replaced by Toprak. I think so, but that depends on what Toprak does.
