How to watch the Sony Open on Thursday
A brand new PGA Tour season begins Thursday in Hawaii, and one of last season’s stars hopes to keep the momentum going Thursday.
That player is JJ Spaun. At No. 6, Spaun is one of the highest-ranked players in the Sony Open field. But he is the only one to capture a major championship win in 2025.
Spaun won the 2025 US Open at treacherous Oakmont last summer. It was the second for the 35-year-old PGA Tour won and earned him a spot on the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup team.
Spaun will play the opening round alongside one of his Ryder Cup teammates: Collin Morikawa.
