Pramac rider Jack Miller has declared his ‘goal’ for 2027 before his Yamaha contract expires.


Jack Miller will spend a second year with Pramac during his second stint with the team in 2026, but it could be his last year in MotoGP as his Yamaha contract is due to expire.

Jack Miller’s ‘goal’ is to secure a new Yamaha contract for the 2027 MotoGP season.

Yamaha have decisions to make regarding most of their rider list, with Miller, Quatararo and Alex Rins all out of contract at the end of 2026. Only Pramac’s Toprak Razgatlioglu is currently contracted to the factory Yamaha until the 2027 campaign.

Miller has been part of the MotoGP field since 2015 and will still be hungry to ride in the premier class when new 850cc regulations are introduced in 2027.

But if Miller wants to experience how the MotoGP 2027 rules play out, he needs to convince Yamaha or a rival brand to stay in the field. Otherwise, the four-time grand prix winner is eyeing a future in the World Superbike Championship with interest in 2025.

Honda has considered Miller for its 2026 World Superbike lineup. Although his future in MotoGP remains unclear. as well as, Yamaha was considering taking Miller to the World Superbikes in 2026. with their factory workers, before the brand left to retain Miguel Olivera at Pramac instead.

If MotoGP teams don’t come forward, Miller may need to consider what life in World Superbikes might look like in 2027. Pramac and Yamaha are also showing interest in competing with Apria to sign Enea Bastianini. For the 2027 MotoGP season, it could leave Miller out in the cold.
