Hoodies have you covered. But they don’t hide.
They tell others where you’ve been. They tell others who you are. Take mine, for example. Among my hoodies, there are:
– A blue Marquette University basketball with a backwards logo;
– An AFC Wimbledon blue;
– A blue US Women’s Open;
– A brown with the Catskills Brewery logo;
– A gray from Radmor;
– A blue one from Radmor
You learned a few things, didn’t you? Now you know where I went to college (Marquette); where I traveled last year (England, where AFC Wimbledon plays); where I covered an event this year (Women’s Open); and where I like to go on vacation and drink beer ( The abilities of cats area in New York). The last two hoods, however, are more internal. While the logo is great — a golf ball with eyes sticking out of a hole — they say what I love about clothes (and maybe other areas of life too):
Convenience. Flexibility. Credibility.
Officially named Radmor Higgins 2.0 Hoodiethe fit is ‘wearable’ — the material fits and stretches, which gives you a clean look without restricting golf movement. The hood can also go anywhere. Works on the golf course. In a restaurant. At a table, writing a story about hoods.
It is also reliable.
This year, I’m on my third Higgins, which is as good as my second Higgins, which is as good as my first Higgins. In 2022, I received Higgins no. 1 and I wore it everywhere so I quickly bought the gray one a few months later. This year, the tread on the first one started to break, so I ordered the blue one. But all are equal. Ever heard that a sign of a good restaurant is if it can match – or exceed – what it did on an initial visit? Radmor has done that here.
