Mick Doohan once highlighted what ‘a lot of people’ said about Jack Miller before his MotoGP debut.

While he didn’t have any advice to offer Miller, Doohan had one warning for him ahead of his first race, adding, “The biggest thing to worry about is keeping his enthusiasm in check.”
“If the bike is not to win the race, (but) he feels comfortable on the bike believing he can win the race against someone on a top motorcycle – that’s the only thing that can give him confidence if he’s trying to ride the machine a lot and crashing a lot.”

Jack Miller is the latest rider to join the list of Australian MotoGP legends.
Although he is yet to win a world title in Grand Prix motorcycle racing, Miller is Australia’s flag bearer after making his debut in the premier class.
