Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26: Tournament format and star players
organized by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) the tournament will be held till 18 January 2026 in Ahmedabad Bengaluru Alur Jaipur and Rajkot. The elite category includes 32 teams divided into four groups of eight, where each plays a round-robin format with the top two in the group advancing to the quarter-finals and then to the semi-finals and final; there are six teams in the plate group and its winner is promoted next season.
