He also referred to an earlier period when Salah struggled to find goals at Liverpool, noting that involvement with the national team has helped him rediscover his form. According to Hassan, this revival finally saw Salah return to club football at an even higher level.
Egypt’s hopes and unfinished business
Salah will lead Egypt’s challenge to the side Manchester City striker Omar Marmoush, with the Pharaohs entering the tournament as second favorites behind hosts Morocco.
