Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has labeled Mikey Moore outstanding after his performance in their 2-1 win tonight.
Moore, one of four teenagers who started the game, played 90 minutes and impressed his manager with his maturity in what was a tough game in Europe.

Pape Matar Sarr opened the scoring with a close-range finish, and substitute Brennan Johnson continued his fine form with a second goal.
While Moore’s overall contribution wasn’t the greatest, he provided several flashes of brilliance.
His electric race he played a crucial role in Tottenham’s first goaland almost provided an assist with a well-placed ball to Timo Werner, who missed a one-on-one chance.
Tottenham manager praises the excellent Mikey Moore
Speaking about his performance in the post-match interview, Ange said (via Football London):
I thought it was exceptional. It’s great for a 17-year-old to play more than 90 minutes in a European qualifier away from home. He handled it brilliantly, I knew he would and I think it will help his growth as a footballer once he gets over that kind of experience. I think it will grow and evolve and I didn’t feel like I needed to take it out. He still looked strong at the end and was still contributing.”
Mikey Moore will play a key role this season
Postecoglou has been clear that young talents like Moore and Lankshear will have important roles this season.
With a packed fixture schedule, the Tottenham manager will rely on squad rotation, giving these youngsters multiple opportunities to showcase their skills and potentially make this campaign their breakout season.
