In the opening round at Port Royal, Canadian pro and PGA Tour winner Adam Hadwin had the round of the day. Hadwin shot a six-under 65 to set the pace on Day 1.
After starting the week ranked 147th in the FedEx fall rankings, Hadwin would break into the top 100 and secure full tournament status for next season with a win.
The first round was suspended due to darkness on Thursday evening with 15 players in the field. They will resume their rounds at 7:30am local time on Friday, with the second round taking place as scheduled at 7am local time.
