Conor Benn insists this is his last fight at 160 on Saturday night in his rematch with middleweight contender Chris Eubank Jr. in London. He says he is returning to 147 to achieve the goal his team has set for him to become a world champion.

What a 1–1 score really means
Benn (23-1, 14 KOs) makes it sound like a win over Eubank Jr. (35-3, 25 KOs) will close the chapter rather than tie them at 1-1, all but guaranteeing a profitable trilogy match.
If the event generates a large number of PPV buys like their previous one last April, a third clash is a given. It is so transparent that there will be a third fight because this whole pseudo-rivalry is only about making money, not about family honor.
The trilogy everyone saw coming
Of course, Benn and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, aren’t going to book a third fight right now, as that would likely lead to criticism from fans. Still, a trilogy is the obvious next step if Conor emerges victorious. Eubank Jr. defeated Benn by a 12-round unanimous decision on April 26 earlier this year.
Eubank Jr.- Benn will headline this Saturday, November 15, on DAZN PPV at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. Despite being the older fighter with more miles on the odometer, the 36-year-old Eubank Jr. the betting favorite to win.
“For me, this is my last fight at 160. I’m not much bigger than Eubank,” Conor Benn told DAZN Boxing about his fight this Saturday in his rematch with middleweight Chris Eubank Jr. “I can’t wait to be done with it.
“I can’t wait for that to be done. Then I never have to see his face again. I don’t have to hear it again. I can drop back down to 147 and pursue the goal that me and my trainer and my team set out to achieve, which was to win a world title,” Benn said.
Hearn’s silence on part III
It would have been nice if Hearn had already let the cat out of the bag about a potential third fight if Benn prevailed. If he had at least let the fans know, they would at least know what was in store for them. This thing won’t end if Benn wins.
