Abhimanyu Mithun and Dinesh Karthik shine with the bat for India
After being asked to bat first, India posted a competitive 107/3 in six overs, riding on a pace partnership between Abhimanyu Mithun and the skipper Dinesh Karthik. Mithun scored a Swable Touch, Quickfire 50 runs while Karthik anchored the innings with an incredible 42 from Karthik.
Khalid Shah leads UAE’s fearless pursuit
Chasing 108 for victory, UAE captain Khalid strikes from the start, all guns blazing, hitting his breather. India pulled its bowlers to all parts of the ground, smashing a scintillating 50 off 14 balls that included four fours and five towering sixes. His fearless approach set the tone for UAE’s innings and captured the necessary rank.
Despite losing a few wickets, UAE remained composed, crossing the finish line at 111/2 in 5.5 overs. Khalid’s heroics and his shots became a defining moment of the competition.

India struggled after successive defeats
The defeat marks India’s second straight loss to Hong Kong, having previously gone back to 2025. Kuvai 27 runs.
