For the first time since stopping the USGA anchoring in 2016, Ping is offering a long retail model.
The new Ping Ping Ping as Oslo L is part of the new PLD Grutted as (alternative style), which adds three layers – each feeding a unique style of placement – in PLD Ping Formation.

What is the Ping PLD series as a series?

My thoughts
It was a wild type for me to find out that Ping was not currently in the long market, but the company has a history to ever take its time with equipment trends, such as adjustable metal forests, carbon use and low torque placers.
Long putters have not had the same explosion of interest as low torque springs over the past 2-3 years, but they have definitely won their largest in the era of detention after anchoring.
Now they have a new opportunity to satisfy that share of the market while adding new forms to their balance and their ground options. Previously, those two categories were only satisfied by the Scottsdale line, but now they are available in the most premium PLD line.
Giving players more opportunities to satisfy the different preferences will always be applauded here, and Ping seems to be throwing their wider network to appeal to more players.
