Who’s next for Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford?

IBF and WBO mid-weight champion Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (17-0, 12 COs) is one of the belt containers at 160 that Terence Crawford looks at his sixth world title division.

Crawford’s options

• Carlos Adames: WBC World Middleweight Champion Adames (24-1-1, 18 COs). He is a strong possibility for Crawford because they have haunted in the past and he is considered defeatable.
• Hamzah Sheeraz: The unbeaten super-middleweight contender sheeraz (22-0-1, 18 COs) will come to a fifth round victory over Edgar Berlanga on July 12. It was easily the best career victory for him. Hamzah, 26, is popular in the UK, so there is money to earn Bud if he chooses him.
• Erislandy Lara: The 43-year-old Cuban Lara holds the WBA middleweight title. There would be less upside to Terence if he chooses him, because it would give him the look that he chooses cherries.
• Janibek Alikhakhanuly: Janibek considered the king of the 160 lb division and has victories over Denzel Bentley, Danny Dignum, Vincenzo Gualtieri, Andrei Mikhailovich and Anauel Ngamissenque. His push, Southpaw attitude and skills would make him a difficult task for Crawford. It would be a real battle, because alimkhnuly would not be reluctant to attack Bud, and he would not disappear after six rounds like Canelo did.
• Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis: Apart from an unlikely Rematch against Canelo, “Boots” Ennis (35-0, 31 COs) would be Crawford’s best option for a big payday in a fight that would be somewhat winable. Of course, Crawford could get a mega-million wallet that David Benavidez is fighting, but his chances of overcoming in one piece would be slim and none.

There is little interest from fans in a Crawford and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez Rematch. Their September 13 was less than exciting to look at, and the second one would probably be a similar dull matter. No one wants to see them fighting again.

The Omaha, Nebraska, native, Crawford, clearly keep his four super-middleweight titles for a reason, hoping that Mexican star Alvarez (63-3-2, 39 COs) will use the Rematch clause. This is Crawford’s best and only chance for another huge pay day of $ 50 million.
