Pacheco and Mercado’s return to the West Coast

Ernesto Mercado and Diego Pacheco share the 13th card in Southern California in an Eddie Hearn-promoted event.

The highly arranged, unbeaten #3 WBO Super Middleweight Contender Pacheco (24-0, 18 COs) is likely to be in the main event against another particular opponent.

Tito Mercado deserves the head

Mercado (17-0, 16 COs), light welter weight, should probably be the most important event, as he showed more talent in his short four-year professional career than the Lanky 6’4 ″ Pacheco. Mercado was supposed to fight last summer in June, but an injury scratched the idea.

The ring The story of Mercado and Pacheco broke the card. It will be interesting to see who Hearn can protect the two fighters if Turki Alalshikh is not involved. To persuade other promoters to agree to their fighters facing Pacheco and Mercado, Hearn will have to invest money.

Fans tired of baby juices

Fans start to lose patience with the way Hearn Pacheco brings along, because they want him to act against a quality contender like Osleys Iglesias to see if he is good or not.

It is understandable that it would not make sense that Hearn Pacheco matched a phenoma like Osleys and watched him lose. The chances of rebuilding Diego after a loss to the Cuban Iglesias would be slim.

Arrange at 168

It took Pacheco seven years to reach his current position, and he has actually lost land lately, despite the fact that he remained unbeaten. Canelo Alvarez took the number 1 place on the WBO’s ranking at 168 of Pacheco, and the unknown Hamzah Sheeraz is just behind him on #2.

The rankings by Pacheco are linked to the poor match his promoters did for him. He should have been moved up now, but they use the same formula as with Edgar Berlanga when he was with them. In other words, poor matchmaking to get him into a big conflict of money for which he is too much and unqualified.

Pacheco’s last six opponents:

  • Trevor McCumby
  • Steven Nelson
  • Maciej sulecki
  • Shawn McCalman
  • Marcelo Coceres
  • Manuel Gallegos

Shakur’s silence speaks volumes

Former amateur star Ernesto Mercado comes on June 25, 2025 in Las Vegas with a fourth round about Jose Pedraza. Mercado, 23, recently exclaimed Shakur Stevenson, but was rejected by him. Fans saw that an example of Shakur Mercado was considered a threat.
