When it comes to transportation during a round of golf, call me a purist but The only way to play the game is to walk.
I am all about the carriages to expand the golf entrance to people who cannot go differently an 18 -hole golf course, but for a healthy young person and (all things considered) healthy like me, there is no reason that I cannot walk four to eight miles. Even my 70-year-old father does it almost every time he plays.
This is not to say, however, I believe you always have to discard your golf bag on your shoulders.
As I like to keep, I realize that it may be the difference for some people between walking or not. I kept my bag almost exclusively until about four years ago, when I realized that almost everyone at the Oregon club, to which I belonged, used a pushing cart. No one held.
When I went back to the east, I was happy to learn that the irrational stigma against the push cart was largely descended and I started using one for most of my rounds. This happened until I got a MGI Caddy Electric.
What is an electric cadet?
Ok, so an electric cadet is not a Android -like robot that walks next to me and gives me the opportunity and attitude I would expect from a looper at your local club. An electric caddy is what MGI calls their motorized and remote -control carriages (known as the Power carriages by our UK friends).
The model I have is MGI Zip Navigator, who comes with a remote control that allows me to run the carriage anywhere where deep, dark and terrible places are placed, my golf ball ends, but still folds to fit my small SUV.
MGI ZIP ZAVIGATOR CADDY ELECTRIC
Perfect for modern golf players who want power, style and performance. Showing a great, glamorous shiny glamorous design, complemented by a gorgeous brightness box, Zip navigator stands in the course.
MGI offers many different models, from GPS or ATV capabilities, and without a remote control. Zip navigator suits my eye thanks to the distant function and folding.
What do I like about my electric cadet?
Now I know what you are thinking: “What’S what is a 28-year-old healthy golf player with no history of back problems using a motorized propeller?”
A fair question, but here’s how I’m answering her. Is my spine significantly better now because I’m not holding my golf bag anymore when I play? No. But in 10, 15, 20 years, would my backs appreciate that I didn’t keep my bag for so long? Undoubtedly!

Compared to a regular wheelchair, we have all reached that point in a round where the middle middle begins to harden from the push of your carriage. Add to the hills and the push just can’t be fun.
When I use my electric cadet, it really feels like I am walking with a human caddy, minus a wise knife! Remote makes his control super easy and while I never allow him to wander too far from my attention, he liberates me to do other things. Just another day, I’m pushing my nephew to a itineator while Zip navigator took care of my clubs! How is this for multitasking?
All this and I get the same health benefits and enjoyment from walking on a golf course as I would do normally.
Controlling the remote carriage gets some by learning, but after hanging it, it becomes natural. For those who play the same course every day, she pays to ask where the points of problem can be and keep your carriage away from them! The anti-maid wheel on the back of the carriage will save you more than a few times, but you still need to pay attention.

Zip navigator has a multitude of excellent features to improve my time in the course from the direct gyroscope tracer that keeps the carriage not split when passing a slope, a battery life with 36 holes and many connection points for additional equipment.
After my round, I remove the battery and folds up to Put again in my luggage. Adds about two minutes when I’m leaving my golf clubs.
What can be improved?
One criticism of my electric cadah is that since I am a itinerant through and through, I only sometimes use smaller residence bags And the wings to hold golf bags that are best suited for larger carts.

That was an easy adjustment as MGI sells a The adjustment package of the residence bag with a shorter lower stripe and a slightly weighted block to get a smaller bag in the right position. But I also chose a Cozy clicgear bagwhich allows you to add Velcro blocks to the wings of the carriage that enter between the legs of your bags and stop it from the curves.

If you like to walk and wear your bag, then you will want to walk and pilot around your electric veil.
At first I thought that the use of an electric cadet was meaningless and unnecessary, but then I began to see how much my father appreciated for allowing him to continue walking for the predictable future.
It will come one day when he, and eventually, I am no longer able to walk the course, but that day is significantly further because we both use our electrical cadres.
