Heavyweights fell asleep the crowd
Not every fight delivered. Jamar Talley (4-0, 3 food) and Anthony Holloway (9-9-3, 7 COs) hit six rounds that no one will remember. No urgency, no danger, just rounds filled. Reviewers scored it twice for Talley, 59-55 and 60-54. He remains unbeaten, but fans have earned better.
The opener had more lead. Emiliano Alvarado (9-0, 5 costs) and Juan Garcia (7-1, 2 COs) traded control. Garcia started sharply, but the late pressure of Alvarado raised his eyes and turned momentum. The judges gave it majority: 57-57, 58-56, 60-54. Alvarado remains perfect, Garcia takes its first loss.
Dazn’s “underdog” gets a real test run
The fontainebleau debut was a test launch. Dazn’s “underdog” officially began in January 2026, and this card showed the good and the bad. Olascuaga looked like a champion ready for unification. Viloria and Hackett showed why young blood is important. Talley-Holloway showed why fans eliminate when the heavyweights coast.
If Dazn is serious about this ‘underdog’ series, they will need more evenings such as the demolition of Olascuaga and fewer sleeping walkers on the account. The fans know the difference.
