IBF Super Featherweight Champion Eduardo ‘Sugar’ Nunez (29-1, 27) defeated Christopher ‘Pitufo’ Diaz (30-6, 19 cost) with a unanimous decision of 12 round Saturday night in the main meeting in the Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico.

In the first round, Diaz was the aggressor with little more than JABs, which were landed by both boxers. In the opening minute of the second round, Nunez ends up a right on the Diaz chin. In the final seconds, Diaz ended up a counter on the chin. In the third round’s center, Diaz landed a right on the chin, with Nunez coming down. Referee Chris Flores ruled a slip due to water on the canvas.
In the fifth round, halfway through, Nunez landed a combination of four punch to the chin of Diaz. In the last minute, Nunez landed a 3-punch combination on the Diaz chin. In the last second second, S Diaz landed a combination to the chin of Nunez.
In the sixth round, Nunez went to the body until the last minute when Diaz ended up a right to the chin. Nunez ended the last minute outside the country. In the halfway point of the seventh round, Nunez landed right on the side of Diaz’s head and dropped him for an 8 counts of referee Flores. With a minute left, a right of Nunez again dropped Diaz of an 8 counts of referee Flores.
In the eighth round, Diaz came back to Outland Nunez well. In the ninth round, with a minute remaining, Diaz landed a combination on the chin of Nunez. With half a minute left, Nunez ended up on a right on Diaz chin.
In the tenth round, Diaz came back well and exchanged with Nunez in the first minute. In the last minute, Diaz Nunez had the ropes with a right on the chin. In the eleventh round, it was the most exciting of the fight with both landing stems.
In the twelfth and final round, Diaz, just after a minute, opened a cut on the left eyebrow of Nunez. Diaz had a large round backup Nunez, who returned to another action.
The scores were 117-109, 117-109 and 116-110, which looked out of line.
In the main support, former two-time world champion Pedro Guevera (43-5-2, 22 COs) fought to a 10-round draw with the late sub (24 hours) Alexis ‘Chapito’ Molina (13-1-2, 5 coes). I believe Molina was robbed.
In the first round, Guevara had his way, pulled out the round and ended up on Molina. In the second round, Guevara worked the body of Molina. Molina ended up a right to the chin of Guevara halfway through the round. With a minute left, Guevara landed a right to Molina’s chin. In the last twenty seconds, Molina has landed a right to Guevera’s chin.
In the third round, Molina had a better round with the lead. Fifteen seconds in the fourth round, due to a clash of heads, Guevara was cut on the right eyebrow. In the final seconds, Molina landed a right to Guevera’s chin. In the last minute of the fifth round, Guevara landed a combination of five punch to Ken of Molina. Molina fought back well at the clock.
In the sixth round, after a minute, Guevara landed three left brackets to the chin of Molina. The rest of the way had Molina a lead. In the seventh round, after thirty seconds, Guevara Molina shook the chin with a left hook. In the final seconds, both ended up on the chin.
In the eighth round, both had their moments. With fifteen seconds to go, Molina ended up a right to the chin and struck Guevera. In the ninth round, Molina took Guevara outside the country and took another round.
In the tenth and final round, Guevera Molina expanded in another near round. Guevara also swollen under his right eye. Molina seemed to have achieved a great dismay.
The scores were 97-93 Molina, 96-94 Guevera, and 95-95, a draw.

Flyweight contender Yoali Mosqueda (14-0, 11 costs) knocked out the German ‘El Chile’ Valenzuela (17-8, 12 COs) at 1:42 of the sixth round of a scheduled 10 rounds.
In the second round, Mosqueda continued to surpass Valenzuela. Valenzuela’s best punch was an overhand right to knowing Mosqueda, who won both rounds.
In the third round, they have heads with no injuries. Half a minute, Mosceda ended up a right on the chin of Valenzuela and drove him back into a corner.
In the fourth round, both had their moments, with Mosqueda with an lead. In the fifth round’s halfway point, Mosqueda landed a left hook to the Ken of Valenzuela and got his attention. In the final seconds, Mosqueda landed a 3-punch combination, followed by a right on the chin and the mouthpiece of Valenzuela knocked out of the ring. Valenzuela swollen under the left eye at the end of the round.
In the sixth rounds of Midway Point A to the right of Mosqueda at the Ken of Valenzuela, the mouthpiece again strikes. While referee Mariscal walked him to the corner and handed the mouthpiece to his corner, the Cornerman called a downtime.
Junior middleweight ‘Handsome’ Hector Beltran, jr. (4-0, 4 food) Moises Martinez-Zumaya (2-1, 1 KO) knocked out of the first round of a scheduled four rounds at 2:03.
In the first round, after half a minute, Beltran Martinez-Zumaya shook a right on the side of his head, causing Martinez-Zumaya to grab him at the waist and walking back. Shortly thereafter, Beltran dropped him to the body with a right to the body and a right cup for an 8 score of referee Javier Penato. Beltran followed up with a right to the chin and dropped him and forced referee Penato to blow it off. Martinez-Zumaya also had blood from his nose at the end.
