Member of FA with lions to celebrate Base Football with Short Film

The FA has marked the start of the Football Football Season with a animated short film that shines a point of look at the unknown heroes who make the game move away from the light.

Instead of focusing on elite football, the movie follows four family -based characters: The organizer (Sandra), The bell (Nick), The coaching father (Rashida) and The land manager (Greg): Showing them exchange their diary for chaos and charm of the day.

From careful launches to last minute nervous penalties, it captures the humor, stress and joy that only base football can provide.

The film also falls into a few surprise cameos. Newcastle’s midfielder Jordan Nobbs appears to show his skills to a large -eyed group of young people, while the hashtag United Football creator and the PK Humble Football Creator explains his signature dance after a goal.

Things are wrapped in the four base characters aligned with their own grass patches, accompanied by a sincere message, thanking the volunteers, parents and players who keep local football alive.

Jordan Nobbs said, “Part of this movie reminds me of my own journey: from the base clubs where I learned the foundations of the game. It’s all about: creating spaces where anyone, regardless of their circumstances, can fall in love with football and feel part of a team.”

James Kendall, FA Football Development Director, added: “The magic of base football comes from the people who are part of it: volunteers, earth managers, coaches and players. This film is a testament to tireless efforts of clubs and volunteers throughout the country as we mark the beginning of the 25/26 season.”
