Adidas sportswear giants have linked with the drama of the Manchester street brand, which called a nostalgic collection of Manchester United inspired by the triumph of the club’s 1991 Cup Cup.
The central piece of the drop is a reprinted version of the final shirt of ’91: a design forever recorded in the history of United.
This updated dam comes on a white long -sleeved white base with three red stripes, Adidas Trefoil and Club’s ridge, while drama calls it applies its own turn through a stelled logo. It has the sleeve instead of a competition badge, to the colls and the cuffs, and as a large reason in the front.
Beyond the shirt, the collection expands to the territory of lifestyle. The semicircular slopes, sweatshirts, sweatshirts, caps and even football carry the same mixture of Adidas’s heritage, United Identity and Drama Call’s Bold Graphics.
The fusion of the club’s tradition with the sensitivity of street clothes creates a capsule that feels equal to the house on the terraces and on the main street.
The United Players themselves showed the new team when they arrived at Old Trafford before the 3-2 victory over Burnley, giving the collection their first public publication.
And, although it was Mark Hughes who showed the hero in the 1991 final against Barcelona with the two goals in a 2-1 victory, it was Bruno Fernandes who advanced against Burnley, who achieved a time penalty to get another Dramatic victory in the United.
Whether in Europe more than three decades ago or the Premier League today, the shirt seems to have a touch of luck. Maybe United should begin to carry it more often.
