All the words KEEGAN BRADLEY Said Wednesday during the press conference of his captain – about 10,000, according to the transcript – four struck me. Before he said, he stopped. After he said, he laughed.
“I’m glad it’s over.”
Was he serious? Or was he humorously? Did I like to choose six Americans for next month’s Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black? Or did he withdraw, telling other compatriots that they fell short? In this case, everyone is likely to be true. As is this: the decision is, in fact, on, which raises another question:
How would he do?
For me, three courses were covered Wednesday. Let’s try to appreciate them.

Why, according to Bradley: “I grew up wanting to play glasses ryder. I grew up wanting to fight with these boys. That broke my heart to not play. You really happened. You work forever to do these teams, but ultimately I chose to do a job.

– He could have chosen himself and continued to be captain. This would have been a B. Say what you want for how important a captain is, there is still a timely commitment. More than likely, his subes would have grown. But the focus on his game would have suffered. Then again, as Wrote the Golf’s Sean Zak At the beginning of this week, seeing Keegan Bradley as a captain playing would have been a great theater.
– He could have chosen himself and delegating all the captain’s responsibilities to a deputy captain. This would have been an A. It facilitates the concern of the concentration of the game. You are also the captain, though only in the name.
– He could have rejected America’s PGA offer to be captain. This too would have been a B, though it would have definitely had to be decided last year. While the chance to lead Americans is extremely special, she also stopped the dream of playing. – After all, he chose Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Ben griffin, Cameron Young, Patrick Cantlay AND Sam Burns. I like the idea that motivates them, with their thoughts: If he chose me over himself, I must hand over. It’s safe game. In golf, this kind of thing can be appreciated.
The question is, who would have dropped Bradley from the players he chose? You can argue anyone outside Thomas, though it is difficult. Does Bradley choose themselves over Morikawa or Cantlay, who everyone has not won this year? Perhaps, but Morikawa is also one of the best ball attackers on the planet, and Cantlay is 5-2-1 in two appearances of Ryder Cup (and 10-4 over three cups of presidents). Does Bradley choose yourself over Griffin or Young, both newly newly Ryder Cup? Maybe, but Griffin has also won twice this year, and Young has been one of the hottest golf players last month. What about burns? I think Bradley’s choice was here, and he went with the PGA Tour leader this season in the strokes: setting.
KEEGAN BRADLEY also did not choose Maverick Mcnealy, Chris Gotterup and others
Bradley said when asked about McNealy: “Very, very difficult to call MAV. Incredible baby, played well all year long. I was very much ahead with boys who haven’t made the team before. You really need, in most cases, make the team at your first team. Really hard to get a choice in your first team.
I played with him a bunch this year. I am really impressed with his game. I told him it’s good to be angry. I left these really angry calls most of the time. You can use this as a fuel. I said, please get angry with me and make the other team. Make () the Cup of the Presidents. I used it as fuel most of my career, and I advised MAV to do the same. He made a great run to get this team, and ultimately this was a really tough decision. “

Scale: B-plus, given its options. I think Mcnealy, cogwheel AND Andrew Novak It can make a team Ryder Cup down the road, but the six players chosen are strong.
However, I wonder how the choices would look like Brooks koepka, Jordan Spieth, Will zalatoryis, Max Homa, Patrick reed, Our arguments AND Sahith Theegala were among the first 25 places in the point.
