The first round of Moses Itauma of Dillian Whyte last Saturday night asked British fans to face the King of the Heavyweight Division, Oleksandr Usyk, for all the gold.
Queensberry has to decide whether they want to chase the 20-year-old Itauma in a world title fight against the extremely more experienced Ulsyk. You can’t blame them if they are reluctant to do so.
After the way Oleksandr twice dealt with Daniel Dubois, knocked him out and derailed his career at an early age, why would Queensberry want it to happen to Itauma? The way Itauma fought, Ulsyk would have easily solved the style and picked it apart.
Dubois 2.0 alert
Moses looked very deliberate with his bread-and-butter punch, the left hand. USYK would have offset that weapon last Saturday and took the inexperienced prospect in the second half of the fight and exposed him as another handicap on the throne. In other words, Dubois 2.0. Itauma is giped out, just as Dubois after victories over similar opposition was at low level. It’s like Deja Vu. History repeats itself with a different name, but the same formula of scabs fed and immediately of fans looking for a new hero.
If you actually look at how Itauma performed in the ring last Saturday, it wasn’t very complicated. He clapped the body against the slow, weak and weak 37-year-old Whyte (31-4, 21 COs).
Rabbit stems and a victory

Itauma fights more like Shakur Stevenson, moves around, throws single shots and pulls three feet back to the first sign of aggression.
No progress in style
He has been fighting so since he was an amateur. In his fundamental style, no progression was done. The only difference is that he has made weight while being aged. What Itauma was at the time, he is now. No improvement, no development. His opposition is even worse than a pro than when he fought in the amateur ranks. It says a lot, because Itauma never fought on the world scene in his short career of 20 struggles before becoming a pro.
‘USyk probably saw years ago in the amateur game like Moses Itauma. Itauma would ask usyk questions that he hadn’t seen in a long time. Can USkyk solve them? There is nothing to say that he could not solve them. He solved every other problem that comes his way?
