Agit Kabayel is the one fighter who can test the vulnerabilities of Moses Itauma

Antonio Tarver says he wants to see Moses Itauma fighting against a “Top 10 Guy” that will “strike back” to him for his next battle to see what he was made of. Like many fans, Tarver was not impressed with the quality of Itauma’s opponent, Dillian Whyte, last Saturday night in Riyadh.

Tarver says he wants to see Itauma fight next to the unbeaten WBC -Tussentage heavyweight champion Agit Kabayel. He believes he would be a good test to see if itauma (13-0, 11 COs) has true talent.

“I like what I saw about the young man. One thing I was impressed with was his attitude. He did not go in there, trying to get happy. He struck it behind a controlled stitch and power, ‘says Antonio Tarver to BoxnationRespond to the victory of Moses Itauma last Saturday over Dillian Whyte.

A ‘shot fighter’ performance

We did not get the opportunity to see Itauma emphasize, because whyte did not throw any blows. From the opening bell, Dillian has just like an old man, arthritis, frozen, slow and unwilling to throw. He was the picture of a shot fighter. Itauma could afford to be relaxed with nothing from Whyte to him.

‘The Body Snatcher’ was much worse than the other recent travelers who beat Itauma to produce its unbeaten record of 12 battle to give the false appearance of 24k gold. All you could say is that it was again a wonderful piece of match by Queensberry to pick out the fossil Dillian for Itauma to fight instead of a lively body.

Itauma’s Mike Tyson comparison

“I see why they say he is Mike Tyson-like, because every time he puts someone, it’s the same result,” Tarver said.

Itauma fights nothing like a young Mike Tyson. The comparison makes zero sense unless a person has never seen Tyson’s fighting style when he was in the early 20s. Moses uses the step back and withdraws when he is attacked. He is at his best if he is the one who goes forward.

The amateur blueprint for success

Stylianos roulias Showed how to give Itauma problems in the amateur ranks in 2022 when he relentlessly chased the ring and beat him when he was close enough. Moses achieved victory in that battle, but he looked human and vulnerable. The fight showed that Itauma loses power on its shots when forced to move. He will not stop if he is attacked because he does not like to be hit.

“Now we want to see how he is acting. We know that Dillian Whyte had experience. We know he had a future at the time, but the Dillian Whyte that showed up tonight was just a shell of himself. We have to keep it true, ‘Tarver said about Itauma.

Turki Alalshikh should have talked when Queensberry chose to use Whyte as the opponent to connect against Itauma because it was not a step, and it never had the chance to be an entertaining, PPV-worthy battle. Dillian looked awful in three out of his last four battles.

A slaughter, not a fight

One look at Whyte’s performance in December last year against travel man Ebenezer Tetteh told you everything you need to know about his suitability as opponent for Moses Itauma. It wasn’t a fight. It was a slaughter.

“Until this man (Itauma) beats someone in the top -10 who can strike back, we’re not going to know what this man was made of. He is too slow. He is a plodder, “Tarver said when asked if Itauma should fight next against Filip Hrgovic. “He’s too slow for what I’ve seen tonight.”

None of the upper heavyweights is fast. They are big and powerful. What makes the 6’6 ″ Hrgovic a threat to Itauma is his skills, experience, strength and its toughness. He can take a punch. We saw it in his fight against David Adelye last Saturday night. The shots with which Hrgovic was hit in the eighth round looked louder than those who threw Itauma to strike Whyte.

Why Agit Kabayel is the answer

“If you really want him to be tested (fight against Kabayel). Everything today is watered down. Find out what the man was made before we put him there at the champion, ‘Tarver said about Itauma.

Kabayel would be a good option to test what itauma consists of because he is going to attack him, target his body. None of the 13 opponents who faced Itauma during his two -year professional career targeted his body.
