Bukayo Saka has once again shown why he is one of the most admired figures in English football, taking time to give more than a thousand school uniforms to families who fight with the cost of the alive crisis.
From Ealing, Saka gave the uniforms to four local schools, including Greenford High, where he studied as a young man.
Arsenal and England visited the school personally to surprise the students, considering photos, signing autographs and helping to distribute uniforms to the needy.
Sharing Day Images on Instagram, Saka wrote: “The special day returns home to launch our school uniform project. Thanks to all schools, our partners and everyone who helped us give students.”
In 2022, Saka received the freedom of the Ealing District in recognition of his sporting achievements and his positive influence on young people, after his outstanding performances at the UEFA Euro 2020.
In the meantime, outside Greenford High is an amazing Saka mural, painted in 2021 by suggestion of a student, celebrating his promotion from local school to football star.
It is clear that the Ealing community loves Saka – and loves behind – using its platform to inspire both on the pitch.
