Junior middleweight rival Jesus Ramos revealed today that Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis did not send him an offer for his October 11 match. His promoter sent the offer to his uncle, Abel RamosWho fights at welterweight. Ennis’s team wanted Abel, who has six losses on his resume and comes with a draw against Mario Barrios.
Wrong ramos got the offer
If he had accepted the offer, Abel would have gone up to 154 to be ‘Boots’ opponent for his debut at Junior Middlegight in the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Instead he rejected it, and Ennis’s promoter Eddie Hearn chose little known Uisma five As his opponent for October 11.
In an interview today, “Boots” said that the only reason he chose Lima was that he made an offer to “Ramos” and Serhii Bohacuk, but the only one who was “available” was Uisma Lima. What Ennis did not say was that Ramos received the offer. Technically, Ramos was offered a fight, but it was the welter weight, Abel (28-6-3, 22 COs), who did not fight at 154. Ennis and Hearn will use him as the opponent to get to the 154-pound division.
Jesus Ramos reveals ‘BS offering’
Jesus Ramos says Abel was ‘available’ to fight but he would not accept acceptance “BS offering” To fight Ennis with “everything stacked against him.”
Wrong Ramos, he sent my uncle Abel, who was fighting at 147, to fight at 154. My uncle was available, but not for a BS offer with everything stacked against him. However, he played it smartly by just saying “Ramos”. https://t.co/qgiijr0cmn

Ennis defends the choice of opponents
“I was surprised because it (Uisma Lima) wasn’t what we wanted. I asked Ramos, and Bohachukand Lima was the only available one who took it, ”Jaron Ennis said IceM Sports Media When asked if he was surprised by the setback he received about the announcement of his October 11 match against Uussma Lima.
The backlash of fans was great for Ennis’s decision to fight Lima rather than one of the well -known 154 -pound contenders, such as Jesus Ramos, Israil Madrimov, Erickson Lubin and Bohachuk.
“Everyone was injured, had a fight, or a mandatory,” Ennis said. “I’m glad Lima took it. He is a top -10 -man and the IBO champion. We are going to handle him, take him out of the way and to the next. We’re going to get busy.
“Although he is not known, guys like this, you can’t take lightly. And you have to treat them like a name fighter, and that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to treat him like a top-pound-for-pound king and a business I will have. He will have 15, 16,000 people against him (in the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia). It’s a very different vibe. ‘
