At the end of the week at ISPS Handa Senior Open, a name greeted the top of the manager’s table: Padraig Harrington. Victory was his second high summer title, and the third of his Champions Tour career.
“I know you are talking about how I won Open, to win Senior Open, there are only five players, so you want to be in that category,” Harrington said. “I think they are the kind of things you understand over the next two days, its importance. Now I’m excited, euphoric, that I have done it.”
With a recent margin of three blows over runners Thomas Bjorn and Justin Leonard, It would be fair to think that Harrington’s game was so called that it could be all week. This assumption would prove that he was miserable outside the base.

“I reached myself very well,” said HRRINGTON. “I tried to swing smoother, slower I could all day. Just tried to really swing inside myself. Just try to tone it and as I just said to get around it. I happen to play well as it turned out. I didn’t think more when I was in the golf course.
This smooth strategy worked miraculously immediately. Harrington began the day by carding an Eagle 3 in the opening hole, and added two more birds (against a trick) the rest of the ninth front. From there, he only needed a nine premature interior to post a round 67 round and mostly three shots fields.
“I was just trying to find a good mental thought,” he said. “As soon as he entered a nice pace. It slowed down everything and seemed to work nicely.”
