Virat Kohli is always known to be smart and witty with his conversational style. Kohli is not only impressive on the field of play but equally impressive off the field of play. Recently, Kohli grabbed everyone’s attention by pulling the leg of Indian captain Rohit Sharma in a funny way.
In a surprise collaboration, Kohli recently had a chat with India head coach Gautam Gambhir. The 20-minute video has been uploaded by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on its website.

Virat Kohli hilariously pulls Rohit Sharma’s leg
In a video uploaded by BCCI, Virat Kohli asked Gautam Gambhir to ask Rohit Sharma a question. Kohli’s question to Rohit Sharma was whether he eats soaked almonds in the morning or not.
“Rohit Sharma ki subah bheege badaam khate ho ki nahi (Do you eat soaked almonds in the morning) is a very simple question?” Kohli asked in the video.
Gambhir didn’t hold back and said, “Subah 11 baje ke jagah, raat ko 11 baje na aajaye. (So that night comes at 11 am instead of 11 pm).”
“I hope it doesn’t change from AM to PM. So it’s a question for Rohit,” Kohli said.

The question was completely unexpected and both players burst out laughing. The legendary players shared many bright moments with each other during the video and recalled the most difficult moments of their careers.
Rivalry between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli
Gambhir and Kohli were known as bitter rivals few years back. Both have been involved in several spats with each other in different seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
However, over time, both of them developed a sense of respect for each other. Currently, both share the same dressing room as Gambhir is India’s head coach and Kohli is a senior player in the team.
Coming to Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain often forgets everything. There have been many occasions when Rohit even forgot important things like his passport at the team hotel. Even on the field, Rohit Sharma often forgets the names of his players in the XI when asked during the innings.
India’s upcoming international destination
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will feature in India’s upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. It will be a two-match Test series and will mark the start of India’s Test season.
The series will also be Gautam Gambhir’s first Test series as India’s head coach. Gambhir’s first assignment as coach was the tour of Sri Lanka where India played three ODIs and three T20Is. While India blanked the hosts 3-0 in the T20I series, Sri Lanka bounced back to win the ODI series 2-0.
