According to the reports, Inter Milan proposes a movement for the Manchester United striker, Joshua Zirkzee, who explores the possibility of a loan agreement with a purchase option, as per The Corriere dello Sport.
The 23 -year -old Dutch striker has struggled to have a significant impact on Old Trafford since his transfer of 40 million euros from Bologna last summer, scoring only seven goals in all competitions.
This is one of the reasons that Man United has fought so much this season at the Premier League.
Its lack of threat ahead due to the poor performances of Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund have been one of the main reasons for their poor league.
Inter Milan Want Man United Flop
Despite his seasoning season, the Premier League, Inter sees the potential in Zirkzee’s technical skills and versatility, believing that he could complement his programming with Lautaro Martínez and Marcus Thuram.
The proposed agreement would entail an initial loan with an option of buying, which could become an obligation under certain conditions.
Zirkzee’s previous success in Series A, where he scored 14 goals in 53 appearances in Bologna, adds his call to Inter.
A return to Italy could provide the striker with the opportunity to rediscover its form and to significantly contribute to Inter ambitions to domestic and European competitions.
What is then for Joshua Zirkzee?
It remains to see if the United has lost patience to Zirkzee after a single season at Old Trafford.
The Dutch attacker was signed by the former -Manager Erik Ten Hag to Old Trafford, but even Ruben Amorim has not been able to get the most out of it.
With United looking for new options in the market in the form of Ipswich Town Attacker Liam Delap and Wolves Star Matheus CunhaIt is difficult to see Zirkzee doing its place on the starting line of next season.
