Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero has the option to fight for a world title next Friday after his victory over Ryan Garcia to win the WBA Secondary Welterweight Belt last Friday night at Times Square. Romero (17-2, 13 food) did not say his preference for his next struggle.

No rematch eagerness
Garcia (24-2, 20 COs) doesn’t seem eager to fight Rolly again. When asked at the press conference after the fight for his interest in a re -broadcast, Ryan said he would leave it to the supporters. Obviously, this is not the kind of reaction a person gives if he believes in themselves. Garcia sounds like his confidence is gone.
“Whatever the fans want. If they want me to run it back with Rolly, let’s do it. If they want me to go straight back to Devin, let’s do it, ”Ryan Garcia said last night Na-Fight Press conference.

It seems clear that Ryan does not want a rematch. Haney just wants the re -broadcast with Garcia because it is his biggest payday and he has to avenge his loss of last year. The weakened, non-superman look that Kingry had last night lost to Devin if they fought now. He looked like he was in a Room filled with Kryptonite Last night against Rolly. All the superpowers Garcia had in his previous battle against Haney have disappeared.
Rolly defeated Ryan with the scores 115-112, 118-109 and 115-112. He noted that once he dropped Garcia in round two, he then did not try to aggressively attack with his left hook. Romero thinks Ryan was worried about the crash. This is understandable because Rolly hit hard.
