Former Unified Lightweight Champion Kambosos (21-3, 10 COs) considers his losses as lessons for him to learn and as part of the sport. If a fighter hangs around long enough, they will be beaten unless they take no risky fights.
Kambosos, 31, is his replacement opponent, 24-year-old Wyllie (16-1, 15 COs), in the 12-round head liner on Dazn. In the co-function, WBC World Female Featherweight Champion Skye Nicolson (12-0, 1 costs) defends against the unbeaten Tiara Brown (18-0, 11 COs) in a ten-round competition.
Kambosos needed one of his better performances on Saturday because he couldn’t afford to lose this battle, because a world title is in the cards for him against the IBF champion, the champion of the 140 pound, Richardson Hitchins as he won.
George has gone 1-3 since 2022, and you can make a strong argument that he should be 0-4. His one win in his last four fights was a questionable 12 round decision against Maxi Hughes in 2023.
The Warrior’s mindset
