Arsenal has been linked to a movement for the Bayern Munich Leroy Sane star, which will become a free agent this summer.
With contract negotiations, the German international is expected to attract a widespread interest, including from Premier League clubs as Tottenham.
Reports suggest that SANE can even be open to a reduction of payments to facilitate a distance from the Bayern.
However, Arsenal expert Charles Watts urged the Gunners to get out of Sane, wondering if the 29-year-old attack is aligned with the club’s long-term strategy.
WATTS: Arsenal should not target Leroy Sane
Despite speculation, Watts believes that Arsenal should look elsewhere, arguing that the age of Sane and high wages make it a very cautious investment.
Speaking exclusively to capture The daily information sessionWatts explained:
“I am not sure of the Leroy Sane links. It is clear that he has been a great player, but he will be 30 years next year and his salaries will be huge. I do not think that it is the type of option that Arsenal has to happen in the summer, even if it is a free transfer.”
Watts noted that, while the Arsenal’s interest in Joshua Kimmich could make sense because of his profile, the same cannot be said for Sane.
“I saw some sense in the interest of Joshua Kimmich for the type of player who is, but I don’t see it with Sane.”

Nico Williams and Antoine Semenyo named Best Options
Recognizing the need for reinforcement arsenal in wide areas, Watts suggested that Nico Williams of Bilbao Atlètic and Antoine Semenyo de Bournemouth would be best goals.
“Arsenal needs a new end. There is certainly the potential for giving an update for Gabriel Martinelli, but for me it must be a long -term option. “”
“Someone like Nico Williams has a perfect sense to me, or even Antoine Semenyo in Bournemouth. Both are explosive wings that have not yet reached the peak. “”
Watts emphasized that Arsenal has moved away from signing players beyond and should not return to this strategy.
“You can’t say it for Sane. Their best days are behind and Arsenal have burned in the past by signing like this. It is something that they have moved away and therefore they are better. So it’s not one that excites me, I have to recognize. “
Arsenal’s continued interest by Nico Williams
Arsenal has previously linked to WilliamsWith reports that suggest they are forwards to sign the Spanish end.
Williams, known for his rhythm, technical capacity and creativity, has been established as one of the most exciting young talents in Spain.
This season, Williams has contributed four goals and five assists in 30 appearances to all competitions, bringing his general account to 24 goals and 31 assists in 152 club games.
Although Watts dismisses Sane as a viable goal for Arsenal, the former Manchester City star is expected to be one of the most sought after free agents in the summer transfer window.
Since joining Bayern Munich in 2020, he has registered 56 goals and 50 assists in 209 appearances in all competitions.
Despite not being a regular headline under Vincent Kompany this season, Sane has still managed eight goals and four assists in 34 games. The return to the Premier League could be very expected, given his success with Manchester City, where he scored 39 goals and provided 43 assists in 135 appearances between 2016 and 2020.
If the arsenal sitting his signature ahead of his rivals, he would be an important blow. However, given the club’s long -term vision, Watts evaluation suggests that it may be better to look for another place for a more sustainable investment.
