Keith Thurman strikes Jarvis in the 3rd, wants Tim Tszyu next


After sustaining several injuries, and suffering a three-year discharge, former United Welterweight World Champion Keith “One Time” Thurman traveled cross-country to Sydney, Australia, for his Comeback battle, while knocking Brock Jarvis (22-2, 20 coes) in the third round.

The attack took place at the Hordern pavilion and broadcast around 6am. Thurman showed that at the age of 36 he still has the IQ, the footwork, speed and punch power. Thurman traveled more than 9,000 miles with the aim of making a statement and then moving to the largest Bokster of Australia.

Thurman arrived early in the round 2 as he pushed forward and changed the levels. Thurman switched gears halfway through round two while using lateral movement while pumping the stab pump.

During the 1:08 point of the 3rd round, Thurman landed a great upper hand. He followed it up with a hard left head letter that Jarvis sent to the canvas. Jarvis gets up, but seconds later he was knocked out when Thurman contacted a thunderous left hook.

Keith Thurman (31-1, 23 food) came into the ring and did what he had to do. Now Thurman has Australian Bokster Tim Tszyu on his radar, but he is open to fighting one of the Charlo brothers, Errol Spence Jr., Ryan Garcia, or WBC, WBO, junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora.
