It is not surprising that when you have the extraordinary length of someone like Rory Mcilroy, the driver can be extracted from your hands more often than you want.
Mcilroy has tried to do something for this season.
Mcilroy, two beginnings after winning at AT&T Pebble Beach pro-am at the beginning of this season, made wholesale changes at the top of his golf bag Last week at Arnold Palmer Invitational. Mcilroy added new Taylormade forests Qi35, in order to solve a unique problem he faces: some holes get “strange” as he calls them with the distances that strikes it.
But almost quickly as she introduced new dresses, she disappeared on Sunday. Back his old Qi10 forests in the bag – partly Thank you Uber. Mcilroy admitted that he may have rushed to play for a number of different reasons.
“You are always looking a little advantage, and for me it was like, good if I can find something (in a 3-druru) that goes 300, that would be great,” he said Tuesday before this week Championship. “Not only for what is coming – for many golf courses we go to this day, it looks like Fairways Pinch in about 310, 320, which is just difficult for me to hit the driver.
Basically, the previous Qi10 of Mcilroy is not as hot as the new Qi35. With Mcilroy length, he is often forced to hit less than the driver more often than his competitors. So if a free road becomes tight on the 320 yard, which still allows the other players to hit the driver there 300 yards, Mcilroy should hit a 3-drunt that maximizes at 290 because his driver would get trouble at 320.
This puts it to a relative disadvantage compared to its opponents, just because of the advantage that Mcilroy has on them in every other hole.
It is a little confusing problem to end up for most mortal people, but nevertheless a good one to have. Wouldn’t we all like to hit our drivers Too far away?

With the new QI35 configuration, Mcilroy was able to obtain 300-Oborre 300-Duri he wanted, but that would mean three more changes. He had to add a 5-tardy-strengthening to narrow the gap between him and the 3rd and then add a 3-hekuri to fill the extended gap between the 5-land and his 4th.
This would put it in 15 clubs but because he went to A spinnier ball in Taylormade TP5 At the beginning of this season, he felt more comfortable by hitting Knockdowns and half shots with his wedge and 9-Hekuri, meaning he could weaken him slightly while removing his wedge with 50 degrees.
He also took a little more distance from the Qi35 driver. But when he couldn’t find many ways tentacle Last week, and actually lost off-the-thee strokes in round 3, he turned back to the Qi10 wood configuration. In a cascading effect, the rest of the bag had to return again.
On Sunday in Bay Hill, Mcilroy also said he wanted to get into new gears, but it is not always a simple process, especially on the day of 12-month gear cycles.
“A few years you vibrate with a new piece of equipment a little easier,” he said. “Like that qi10 that I am using what they brought last year was like love at first sight. I was like, that is amazing. I think when you feel like that for a golf club, it’s very difficult to change to something else.
“Look, they are all businesses and everyone is trying to make money and renew and try to be better. So I understand why the cycle is as it is.”

Asked if he ever feels pressured to move on to new gears for the sake of switching to new gears, Mcilroy was open.
“No, never. No, ”he said.
This trail like sponsors and their tour reps are in the same team as the player. They want a player to be best equipped to win. When they see that a player is attached to a piece of gear, they usually tend to let them cook.
Tayormade has some such examples in their staff, such as Collin Morikawa playing his reliable SIM driver for five years by this season, and continuing to play the same generation to Fairway Wood. Tiger Woods still uses a Taylormade M3 5-Dru from 2018.
Mcilroy again confirmed that he is likely to maintain Qi10 configuration through the gentlemen, but he seems to try to get those new Qi35 forests in the bag shortly thereafter. He was undoubtedly called with them in the verse and in practice, but it is only another example of how the pressure of real competition can change things, even for the number 2 player in the world.
