While Sports Brands Inc. It is not exactly a family name (not even in golf families), many of the brands under its corporate umbrella were, and maybe they are still. If not, the hope is that they will be again.

The portfolio includes once forgotten brands, but now resurrected such as RAM, MacGregor, Zebra, and The persistent brand Ben Hogan.
In February, Hogan launched new legend and ft Worth handcuffs. It seems to be just the beginning. A new entry into the USGA conforming club list suggests that metallwoods, and specifically, two new drivers, are also on the way.

Even smaller brands need more than one driver model these days. This makes sense given that mounting is on the verge of overcoming technology as the greatest opportunity for players to gain performance.
So, climbing the standard industry nomenclature, the PTX Driver formation Ben Hogan will include a low rotation modality (PTX LST) and a more forgiving max (PTX max).
Hogan has not recreated the wheel for this new generation of drivers. Both PTX models seem to borrow a lot from Hogan’s previous driver, GS53.
The most noticeable difference is to add what I think qualifies as Hogan’s quick intake in Hogan or Tayormade’s inertia generator. With this, the only central section is significantly raised (or more precisely pulls towards the land). It is a design approach that works to reduce the center of gravity to promote the highest release and growth of MOI.
Both models contain a feature of the speed slot that increase the aerodynamic. The apparent difference between models is the placement of the weight port. As you can expect, the PTX LST contains a front weight, while the maximum has a similar anchored weight in the back of the only one.
While we cannot be 100% safe, no weight seems adjustable/beaten.
Where it fits
While the USA list rarely paints a full look, we see nothing to suggest a technological progress in the driver’s category. That is to say, if the price is right (and we expect that the Hogan PTX line will be pricey below the big OEM offers), there are likely enough brand recognition and nostalgia of the player to generate any interest – especially among fans Dihard Hogan.
