This is the same reason why Canelo chose to fight Dmitri Biscell when he performed three years ago until 175, rather than Artur Betterurbiev when he fought for a world title in 2022.
It is not a shock that Crawford paints a positive picture, why Canelo did not fight Benavidez, because he is in line on September 13. The last thing Crawford needs is to get to the bad side of Canelo and let him choose not to fight with him. It is retirement -money that Crawford gets for this battle.
