Career freezes
With just one champion, it would last forever for contenders title shots, especially if there is repeated re -broadcast as we see with Artur Betterbiev and Dmitri Bivolution. The careers of the contenders were frozen while waiting to get their lap on a title, they aged, and they missed it.
Turki’s idea of having one champion per weight section will stunt the sport, which prevents many fighters from fighting to belts and capturing them. What can further injure the sport is to enable fighters to move on different sections to skip the line to fight for a world title without participating in that weight class.

That’s what Turki set up for Terence Crawford to move from 154 to jump in front of the contenders at 168 to challenge Canelo Alvarez for his WBA, WBC and WBO -Super -Middles titles. It is just as unfair to the fighters competing at 168. If Turki continues to do such things in the future, it will be with one belt per division for the fighters competing in his league. The fighters are supposed to be everyone equal, but as we see here, Some are more equal than others. Will it be the norm for the new league of Turki?

Turki has the money to try to change the sport, so there is one belt, his, for a weight class, but it is unrealistic without the four sanction bodies out of order. It would not only require it, but also for all the promoters outside his business to give up.
The only thing Turki and Dana White can do is fragment the sport with their league. They are likely to target the talented fighters who develop other promoters, who can do the hard work and then offer big money to get to their league.
In other words, tHey would be like wolvesLook at fighters outside their company and want to bring them over. Even doing so would not create one belt that is recognized as the only one. The sport would be just as fragmented as now. It just makes me think that these guys have no idea.
Title Fight?
‘I would not underestimate the value of the World Championships, the four belts (IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO) to a fighter. The legacy and history that notice, and the fact that their heroes had those belts around their waist.
‘Sometimes, if there’s only one champion, other people don’t really have an opportunity to fight for a world championship belt. I really believe a big to find out who is the best. So, if there is a way to do it, I’m for that too.
