After much expectations, the end is near. “Happy Gilmore 2” finally there is an official date of issue.
Golf fans having The expected months To hear when the projected sequel will be available now you have a date to wait: Wednesday, July 25, in Netflix.
There were many rumors when Netflix would release the film. John Dary prompted those waters when he suggested that the film come out around the masters in April. Adam Sandler, the star playing Gilmore, suggested that the summer 2025 was more realistic, perhaps around July 4.
Well, it will appear on Netflix a little later than that, arriving immediately after the open championship. And there will be plenty of bigger golf names.
As we have seen in various promotional materialsHappy Gilmore 2 is set to include many tournaments, from Rory Mcilroy to Scottie Scheffler and Bryson dechambeau. The film was filmed throughout 2024 with numerous golf scenes shot in the fall at the Fiddler’s elbowA New Jersey Golf Club.

The film is being produced by a studio owned by Pro Shop, a media company with which PGA Tour has invested, and the same company co-founded by Chad Mumm, the executive manufacturer of other Netflix golf property, Full Swing.
It is not surprisingly, Starting Full Swing season 3presented the backward cover of a day of filming. The following players were included: Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Rory Mcilroy, Bryson Dechambeau, Brooks Koepka, Xander Schauffle, Collin Morikawa, Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth, Keegan Bradley, Bubba Watson and Tony Fonu.

Does this mean that they will make all the final cut? No. But many of them are forced to be included in some way, which, for Justin Thomas at least, did not work at all.
